Our Story
Aruná was born in Colombia in 2017 from a simple question: can we create effective skincare without losing our connection to the nature that surrounds us?
We live in one of the most biodiverse countries in the world. Growing up surrounded by plants, colors, aromas, and traditional knowledge shaped the way we understand personal care.
That is why we chose to create our own formulas, combining recognized cosmetic actives, botanical-origin ingredients, and a more conscious approach to what we put on our skin.
When we chose the name Aruná, we were inspired by its connection to dawn in Hindu tradition: the moment when light returns and a new day begins. For us, it became a symbol of renewal and a wish that still guides every formula: to help skin look and feel renewed through ingredients chosen with intention.
Over the years, we grew, learned, and built our own laboratory in Colombia, where we research and develop products with one simple goal: to make skincare an effective, conscious, and approachable ritual.
